DESCRIPTION:Ausgebucht / Fully booked  | English below | Traditionell werden zum Asiatischen Frühlingsfest in geselliger Runde Jiaozi zubereitet\, auch als chinesische Teigtaschen oder Dumplings bekannt. Seid Ihr interessiert\, das mit uns auszuprobieren? Das Konfuzius-Institut und das Studierendenwerk Essen-Duisburg laden gemeinsam zu einem internationalen Jiaozi-Kochabend zum Start ins Jahr des Drachens ein. Alle\, die bereits Jiaozi-Erfahrung mitbringen\, sind natürlich ebenfalls herzlich willkommen! \nNicht nur für Studierende: Das Angebot richtet sich an alle Interessierten. \nBitte mitbringen\nPro Person wird ein scharfes Messer\, Schneidebrett\, ein Nudelholz o.ä. zum Ausrollen des Teigs benötigt.\nBitte auch Getränke und Restebehälter für Kostproben mitbringen. \nLebensmittel werden bereitgestellt.\nFür die Füllung bereiten wir eine vegetarische Variante und eine mit Hühnchen vor. \nDie Teilnahme ist kostenlos\, eine Anmeldung erforderlich. \nDie Anzahl der Plätze ist begrenzt\, die Veranstaltung ist ausgebucht. \n— \nENGLISH VERSION \nJiaozi\, also known as Chinese dumplings\, are the traditional food that people in China prepare for the Asian Spring Festival. Are you interested to try this? The Confucius Institute and Studierendenwerk Essen-Duisburg are jointly inviting you to an international Jiaozi cooking evening to kick off the Year of the Dragon. Dieser Frage geht eine Online-Veranstaltungsreihe nach\, zu der die Konfuzius-Institute in Berlin\, Italien und der Metropole Ruhr gemeinsam einladen. \nHerzlich willkommen zum Vortrag von Zhang Yunling 张蕴岭\, einem bekannten chinesischen Intellektuellen und Wissenschaftler. \nDer englischsprachige Vortrag ist offen für alle Interessierten. Eine Anmeldung ist erforderlich.\n \nUpcoming Lecture\nManaging the Challenges for a Better World \nAs the world undergoes major changes\, including the emergence of developing countries and a technological revolution\, Zhang Yunling shares his views on what this means for the future of the global system and global governance. \nNew challenges are emerging. Power shifts and strategic competition can lead to uncertainty\, confrontation and even war. To counter anti-globalization trends\, he argues that peace-building is the ultimate goal to address these challenges\, as the world benefits from an open and cooperative spirit and policies. \nAbout the Speaker\nZhang Yunling 张蕴岭\, expert on international issues\, is Academy Member of Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS); Chair Professor\, Chairman of Academic Council\, School of Northeast Asia Studies\, President of Institute for International Studies\, Shandong University. He also is the author of numerous books published in Chinese and English\, including “On East Asian Regional Cooperation: Ideality and Reality”. \nAbout the Digital Lecture Series \nChinese Perspectives: China and the World through the Eyes of Scholars \nThe digital lecture series “Chinese Perspectives: China and the World through the Eyes of Scholars” presents – in its third annual edition – leading Chinese scientists and their positions on current issues and developments in China and the world. Through lectures and the possibility for direct exchange and discussion\, the series aim is to enter into dialogue and make perspectives of Chinese scholars accessible for European public debate. \nThe series is jointly organized by Confucius Institute at Freie Universität Berlin and Confucius Institute Metropolis Ruhr\, in cooperation with Confucius Institute at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore\, Confucius Institute at Milan State University and Confucius Institute at University of Rome La Sapienza. \nThe digital lectures are hosted via Zoom phone and video conference.
